Short Term Rehab

Residents are admitted into this program following a minimum three day stay in an acute care hospital.  Candidates for this program can include post-surgery persons, or, persons who are debilitated and require skilled therapy interventions to attempt to return to an improved activity level in the community. This therapy requirement will include Physical, Occupational or Speech Language Pathology services. 

This program is well suited for those recovering from hip or knee surgery, fractures, or other orthopedic injuries.  Often, persons hospitalized with multiple diagnoses are admitted to short term rehabilitation to further stabilize their medical state and enhance their independence in activities of daily living. 

The average length of stay can be several weeks to several months depending on the individual’s medical need and insurance coverage.

Weekend therapy is available during your stay.
